The collaboration of Lucio and SILKE, known as ILHA, came to be through a chance connection on Instagram during the pandemic. The songs were recorded in both Italy and Mozambique, capturing the raw and pure essence of their home recording setup. Like being on an isolated island, surrounded by an uncertain sea, the duo embraces a playful folk and pirate style with an acoustic twist.
